LIVE!
There's been quite a few parts and
tunes done by Stig through the years -
and now you can see and hear some of them here!
Commercial: Morning Rush
The summer of 2008 Stig filmed a commercial for norwegian telephone
directory service 1881, entitled Morning Rush. A businessman on his way to the
airport needs multiple assistance, and the skilled operator can help - with
almost everything....
Music Video: Funeral Class One
In 2004, the norwegian band Silver released their new single Funeral Class
One, and Stig was cast as the character "Fat Dallas" in the music video. Filmed
on location in Oslo and in an old hangar at former Fornebu Airport.
Audio: Watching
TV

Norwegian composer Kjell-Ole Haune has written the musical
TONIGHT, about a group of friends who
get caught in a civil war. It was performed as a semi-staged concert at the Oslo
Concerthall with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra in september 2002, where Stig
played the storyteller of the musical, news reporter Thomas Bridge. In "Watching
TV", opening number of act 2, Thomas is taking a look at how we get accustomed
to see the atrocities of war on our living-room screens every day - and what
that does to us. (Recorded live at Oslo Concerthall opening night sept.21
2002) Also to be heard are Stephen Weller, Sarah Williams, Ann-Christin
Elverum, Alexander Lycke and Trond Teigen
Audio: I'll
cover you (reprise)
Jonathan Larsson's "RENT" has been acclaimed worldwide for it's
portrayal of young peoples lives in a large metropolis on the brink of the new
millenium. Apart from that, the show's a mindblowing experience with wonderful
songs and lyrics. A medley from "RENT" was included in "Broadway
Baby!" which Stig did in the fall of 2001, and Sitg says: "I was so fortunate that I got
to sing the most bitter-sweet ballade I know: I'll Cover You. Tom Collins, an
HIV-positive engineer, has just seen his lover Angel die from the same disease,
and sings him the song they proclaimed to each other when they met. Heartbroken
he proclaims to Angel and the world that he'll cover him, as their friends try
to support him." (Recorded live at Sandvika Teater opening night sept 6th
2001)
Audio: I Kjærlighet (In Love)
For years, Stig has been voicing cartoons as all sorts of characters. In 2004 he was the little french turtle that tells the story in Disney's "Three Musketeers", where Donald, Mickey and Goofy play the musketeers-to-be. And of course there was singing involved! here's the lovable little song that accompagnies Mickey and Minnie's love story.
